support for 3D spherical (WGS84) maps and 3D projected maps. A new 3D Map is
integrated within udig to be managed as a simple map but with the advantage of
3D representation.
It makes use of OSGVirtualPlanets(osgVP) version 2.2.0. osgVP is a library
developed in the Instituto de Automática e Informática Industrial(AI2) of the
Universidad Politécnica de Valencia(UPV).

Hi,
How do you plan to manage the licensing of uDig3D?
OSGVirtualPlanets is GPL software (by the way, funded by gvSIG project) and looking at compatibility section at GNU web page, the only way a LGPL soft can use a GPL library is relicensing it as GPLv2. Am I wrong??

As you mentioned, looks like we have a licensing problem, so as I posted on the mailing list we have retired all the code, and the alpha releases.
